It would be just the things to create lots of traffic. But I think it would create the most traffic among designers, and they could not overlook that logo to make the jump to customer status. But the template - I think it's a stock template. That doesn't tell me anything special or give me any especially favorable impressions of the company... and I bet most designers would feel the same way. Good thinking Ade. Their site template might be bland, but it's not poorly designed along the same lines as the logo. And it's a public company (CHKP) with > $500M revenue per year, so it's not as if they don't have the resources to hire someone to design a better logo. There's got to be some hidden joke there, or maybe just a marketing effort to get people to talk about how horrible the logo is. Something doesn’t seem right. To me, the computer image looks a little too much like Windows '95 clipart, and there's too many elements in the logo for it to be instantly recongisable.
