This isn’t about web design, but it sure is about Indianapolis. Right now Indianapolis is in a tizzy over the upcoming big game. As a non-football fan, I don’t really get the hype, but I think it comes from the fact that the Colts haven’t been to the super bowl even once since they came to Indy.
Local affiliate WIBJ (Channel 8 ) Could see a seven-figure windfall during the Super Bowl season. Yes, Seven figures! That is an astounding amount of money.

Colts Fever Spreads Across Indianapolis (IndyStar.com)
I like this one: Police raid an Indianapolis Graphics Firm for producing and selling fake Colts merchandise. According to the Indy Star:
Police went to Lucas Digital Graphics, 172 Melody Ave., Suite G, at about 10 a.m. this morning to conduct the raid. The business is accused of selling Colts materials that are believed to be counterfeit, according to a search warrant affidavit.
Ouch. I’m glad I’m not them right now. I wonder if they’ll see a windfall this season? Perhaps they could use it to pay a freelancer to build them a new website.

He’s an Indianapolis multimedia schoolteacher who has recently seen a windfall of his own in terms of media coverage - all due to the upcoming Super Bowl.
